Women’s ski week at Breckenridge, Feb. 13-21

A week dedicated to women and snow sports returns to Breck for the ski area’s second annual Women’s Ski Week, Feb. 13-21, 2016. Women’s Ski Week at Breckenridge Ski Resort will highlight the resort’s offerings for women of all ages in a welcoming, supportive and fun place to improve skiing or snowboarding skills. The classes will encourage moms, sisters, daughters and girlfriends to get the most out of the mountain and town and will connect them with other like-minded women who also love snow sports.



Here are some of the events during Women's Ski Week that are not to be missed:

Ski Girls Rock (Feb 12-21) This fun and funky ski lesson is designed by Lindsey Vonn herself to give girls ages 7 to 14 what they need to be confident and strong on the mountain. Girls will enjoy a social one or three-day lesson packed with tons of fun – kicking off Women’s ski week a day early, on Feb. 12.

SheJumps Get The Girls Out Day(Feb 13) The leading women's outdoors organization SheJumps is hosting Get the Girls Out Day an event that focuses on supporting, challenging, mentoring and inspiring each other in an outdoor setting. Unite with fellow outdoor sport enthusiasts while you take on the mountain together.

Women & Wine (Feb 17) Women are welcomed to enjoy an invigorating and relaxing day incorporating the best of both worlds - a half-day lesson followed by special wine tastings. Ski, sip, and play as you learn from the best women instructors at Breck. This special session held on Feb. 17 will have light appetizers available, a wine tasting from William Hill Winery, and mini- spa treatments available

Women’s Movie Night (Feb 19) The party starts at 2 p.m. at the TBar with Breck’s favorite female deejay, DJ Cyn on Friday, February 19 and continues at 4:30 p.m. for a movie showing of Shifting Ice + Changing Tides.

Girls Snowboard Parks Camp (Feb 20) At this exciting one-day Girls Snowboard Parks Camp, Breck's supportive and fun female instructors will take female snowboarders through the art of riding boxes, rails, jumps and basic halfpipe skills. This exciting camp offers video reviewing as well as lunch.
