Now, snow is on the ground across almost the entire state. Breckenridge saw impressive snowfall. More than 9 inches of fresh snow fell on the mountain! With the recent cold weather, this snow isn't going away anytime soon. Ski season has been slow to start this year because of abnormally dry, warm weather. Many resorts that typically open in the middle of the month were forced to postpone opening. Breckenridge is set to open on November 11th.  ![greg-rakozy-dqE4raxMqlo-unsplash](https://www.breckenridge.me/hs-fs/hubfs/greg-rakozy-dqE4raxMqlo-unsplash.jpg?width=4000&height=6000&name=greg-rakozy-dqE4raxMqlo-unsplash.jpg) In the next 5-10 days, it is estimated that at least 3 more inches will fall in Breckenridge.
