Come to Breck for the annual Mardi Gras Festival on Tuesday Feb 13th. The streets of the mountain town turn into a New Orleans-style carnival with masks, boas, beads and live music. Don’t miss this lively celebration!
Mardi Gras Tailgate, 2:30pm-4:00pm
Kick the day off with the Mardi Gras Tailgating Party. This family-friendly celebration have free music, beads and Mardi Gras Specials from local businesses. The event takes place in Main Street Station Plaza, located at 505 S Main Street.
Annual Mardi Gras Parade, 4:30pm
Celebrate Fat Tuesday with the traditional Breckenridge Mardi Gras Parade Down Main Street! Gather along the fenced parade route to see the floats locals have put together and get in position to catch any incoming beads, then wear them out to your favorite bar as your night out on the town gets started.
Free Concert& Paulaner Salvator Festival
Following the parade, head over to the Riverwalk Center to enjoy a FREE concert with the Lowdown Brass Band and indulge in at the Paulaner Salvator Festival. This Strong Beer Festival will feature big (strong) beers for $4 from Paulaner. Even better, if you are one of the first 100 people in the door, you will receive a free beer. Try some King Cake, Gumbo or Pretzels at Breckenridge's Mardi Gras celebration.
