Did you hear? Breckenridge just announced the ski resort will open early with the official opening date on Wednesday, November 7th. Thank you to Ullr and all the snow gods, as in the past few weeks Breckenridge received almost 5 feet of snow! A few storm systems made their way into Colorado leaving behind lots of the good stuff.
The snow-capped mountains around Breckenridge sit blissfully covered in glorious snow. The clouds moving gracefully around the mountains continue to do the 'cloud dance' where they lift, then they sock back in. Storms have been on and off giving winter seekers the best early season present – enough snow to open Breckenridge early.
I hear it may even be a bluebird powder day! See the lineup of Opening Day festivities from Breckenridge Ski Resort below. We can’t wait to get out there and see what the 2018/2019 season has in store!
