According to the website called "On the Snow", Breckenridge has the most open terrain in the nation with 312 open acreage. Additionally, eight more Colorado resorts rank in the top 12 nationally. This is great timing as all of these resorts are gearing up for a somewhat busy Thanksgiving weekend ahead.
On the Snow website collects and posts the daily snow reports across the country. Thus it showed how Breckenridge has the most open terrain so far. Additionally, another snow storm came through this past week bringing more snow to Breckenridge. If you plug in the town on a weather site you will also notice snow is in the forecast for most of next week. This could put Breckenridge at a great base for early season skiing and riding.
