CNBC's Make It received exclusive first access to HomeToGo's annual Ski Season Report for 2023, which ranks the top ski destinations in North America based on traveler interest. This interesting report revealed that seven cities on the top ten list are in the Rocky Mountain region. Of those, Breckenridge is the most searched ski area for the 2022-23 season.
Breckenridge is known as a luxury ski resort with stunning mountain scenery- much like Aspen and Vail. It is unique, however, in its affordability! Visitors also appreciate that the town is small (it is only 7 miles long and 2 miles wide!) but is home to more than 100 restaurants and bars.
