Breckenridge Ski Resort is now open for the summer season! Just one week ago, skiers were taking their last few turns at the resort as it closed out one of the longest 'winter' season's to date. All the snow on the mountain is melting making the town and valley below green and vibrant as summer awaits.
Summer in Breckenridge offers a variety of adventure activities for kids, families and people of all ages. Epic Discovery is an adventure zone at the resort. With the variety of zones and activities at Breckenridge, discover the beauty and environment through Epic Discovery. Whether you have an hour or a full day, explore the beauty with a pass. Then add on a zip line tour, or just enjoy a scenic chair ride.
The resort suggests to start out at Peak 8 Base Camp for fun for the whole family. Enjoy the thrills of journeying through and around the forest on our Gold Runner Coaster and Alpine Slides. Then soar up the Colorado Super Chair for a bird’s eye view of three of Colorado’s famous 14ers. Arriving at the top you’ll reach Alpine Camp, home to interpretive hiking trails and the environmentally-inspired Alpineer Challenge Course. Don’t miss the new Expedition Zipline Tour, located at the Independence Outpost, featuring adventure high above the forest floor along ziplines and a bridge walk.
Epic Discovery will be open 7 days a week from June 14 - Sept 2, 2019, then open Friday-Sunday during Sept 6 - 8, 2019.
Gondola Hours: The gondola will be open a half hour before the opening and after the closing hours of Epic Discovery.
