4 Great Spots for Casual Dining in Breckenridge

When on vacation eating out is part of the experience – try the new places you read about or make a reservation in a favorite restaurant. But it is always helpful to know the best quick-bite, no reservation spots in town, in case your plans change or the restaurant you want to go to cannot take your big group. Below are a few suggestions for casual and quick-service restaurants in Breckenridge to check out next time you are in town.
Flipside Burger
Right in the heart of Breckenridge, Flipside is a great place to grab a burger, drink a craft beer and have a delicious milk shake for desert. The meat used in Flipside burger comes from grass-fed cows and just like the rest of the products used in the restaurant it supports the idea for eating healthy, being environmentally cautious and buying locally. Besides burgers, the menu also offers unique appetizers, free-range chicken sandwiches, fresh salads and hand cut fries.

The Hungry Dog

Known as the best place in town for a hot dog, the Hungry Dog has a simple yet big enough menu to satisfy the cravings if you are in the mood for casual dining. Some of the most popular items include the World Famous Gyro Dog, the Dewdrop, the Mack&Cheese Dog and many delicious side like the tator tots or the chili cheese fries with bacon. And the best part is this place serves food until 2am, so if you get hungry after hitting the bars stop by the Hungry Dog for a late night bite.
Crepes a la Cart
Crepes a la Cart serves some of the best crepes outside of France. The signature Cart located on Main street has been a must try eatery in Breck for more than a decade. Recently Crepes a la cart has opened a second location called Crepes a la Cart Kitchen, which serves the same great menu and offers a limited indoors seating area. As the place has developed a cult following by both locals and visitors, be prepared to wait in line for a while but it is absolutely worth it. The menu offers a delicious array of crepes; you can build your own or try some of chef's creations such as the Breck Ribeye, Monte Cristo, Crepe Atlantic and many more. If you are in the mood for desert you will have a rally hard time picking just one crepe.

Angels Hallow
Angels Hallow serves a mix of Mexican and Americana favorites at an affordable price and very friendly casual atmosphere. In a rustic cabin with one of the best patios in Breckenridge with a view of the 10 mile range, Angels Hallow is not only one of the coziest places in town but it also offers delicious food. Whether it is the excellent fish tacos, the stake sandwich or the nachos you will not be disappointed. And don't miss the spicy Boody Maries.
